Castiel. An angel of the Lord. A powerful being meant to protect his more favored of creations.....the humans. Castiel held no resentment toward his Father like MorningStar but embraced his mission to become a good son. Something he and the boy of Destiny had in common. Sent out to make sure the Winchester's do not die Castiel was their guardian angel.....for now.
"My apologies" He said landing them gently. "I'm Cas....Cass. Yes Cass is my name and I know you through the Yellow Eyed Man. He wants me to watch you. But I want us to figure out a way to kill him."

Left alone at the hotel again, Sam went through notes in his dad’s journal. Dean was always leaving him behind to go “take care of things, and it was beyond him as to why he couldn’t join his brother. With Sam around it would mean trouble, at least that’s what his brother thought of him and Sam was sure of that. He leaned back in the chair feeling restless and a little tired, exhaustion had been creeping up on him slowly. Now it had a firm grasp on him, but Sam needed to stay awake until Dean had returned. Last time he’d let himself fall into a deep slumber he awoke to some menacing looking creatures. The Winchesters had several enemies, and there was no telling who you’d run into next.
Well at least Sam had an idea about that, once Dean returned they’d be well on their way to a new destination. Werewolves, vampires, you name it and they hunted it. He got up and in one quick decision he was out the door. “I have to find Dean.” Yes, the guy could take care of himself but Sam knew something was up. His brother was not the same guy anymore, even Sam could see it in his eyes. The grief he felt, and hatred towards the yellow eyed demon because Sam felt it too. In all, he wasn’t about to let his brother go and do something reckless, at least not alone. Besides if it was him, Dean would be on his case about it.
Hands pushed deep into the pockets of his jacket Sam walked down many streets unaware of his destination. The faster he could find his older brother, then the sooner they could pack up the car and leave. Hey, if it made Dean feel happy Sam wouldn’t even complain about the music. Who was he kidding? That wouldn’t help at all, what Sam needed to find was a miracle to get John back. Then Sam heard a shout and looked up, a lady was being robbed. At first he started to walk towards the commotion, but his feet picked up the pace, “Hey!” Sam was about to fall into his hunter mode and help, but someone else was there to intervene.
The mugger was lifted into the air and thrown back as though caught in some invisible grip. Sam knew that for once he wasn’t the one causing it to happen. Another guy then returned the purse, and Sam watched as he remained immobile. Gears clicked into place and Sam realized that the guy had powers…maybe even similarities to him. And strangely enough the guy even knew his name, that wasn’t possible though. Sam had used an alias the entire time he was here, or at least he thought so. “uh…wait you know me?” He looked in either direction as though an answer would just appear. Stranger things have happened. Eyes of the onlookers were already drawing unwanted attention, so he tried to keep his voice low. “Are you…um well a special child? I know…I must sound crazy..but you just threw a guy.”

Castiel looked at Sam.
“Are you…um well a special child? I know…I must sound crazy..but you just threw a guy.”
Castiel weighed the pros and cons. On one hand he had been given the oppurtunity to lie and find a way into their lives. On the other had lying was a sin. But Cass thought that destiny must be maintained at all costs. Super speeding over to Sam and lifting them both up in the air, he said "Yes, the yellow eyed demon visited us both as children"

Okay so the guy or special child was strange, even Sam could see that. But it was cool meeting someone like him, still there was something that didn’t sit well. If they both met up with Dean he could just ask his brother what he thought. He couldn’t just go around trusting every special child he met, they could be dangerous. His eyes widened when the guy moved over next to him, and before Sam could even talk his feet left the ground. As far as Sam knew he couldn’t do that, flying was above him. All he could to were tricks with reading the mind and sometimes tapping into the future. But this right here was a whole new level of special. “Are you sure you’re like me because I can’t do any of this.” He was nervous, and hoping that the guy wasn’t out to kill him.
All he had to do was let go and Sam would be spiraling downwards towards the pavement, and Dean probably wouldn’t like that. “Could you uh…put me down…I mean land…land yes. I don’t know about you but I can’t fly.” If Sam could do that then hell would break loose, and his brother would truly have something to freak out bout. “Right, yeah he did visit.” Sam wasn’t sure what to think, maybe the guy was crazy. The way he talked was so different and straightforward. It was as though he was reading off a script or something. “I’m sorry but how do you know me?” He was really wanting to know more of who he was.

Sam didn’t want to be rude, but this guy wasn’t your average Jo so to speak. But he guessed that if this Cass was a special child it would make sense. Where he was getting all this power was news to him though, Sam had been sure that special children all adapted their powers at the same time. As long as he was back on the ground Sam really didn’t care. Finally his feet touched the hard cement below and Sam felt a lot better knowing he could stand his ground here. Even if this guy was his friend, Sam had t remember what Dean told him about trusting people. “No it’s fine…so Cass? Well it’s uh nice to meet you.” Thoughts of the yellow eyed demon trying to watch him didn’t add up though, couldn’t the demon just show up?
The demon had stepped into his life before, and seemed to enjoy himself thoroughly whenever that happened. Sam still had lingering thoughts about Jess and what the demon had done to her, and now their dad. “I’m already trying to work on that right now with my brother.” Sam had to stop himself from giving too much information away. “Why would he need someone to watch me?” If the demon had taken most everyone that was close to him, that could only leave Dean or Bobby. Sam was beginning to feel uncomfortable already and wondered if he should’ve been calling his brother to warn him.
